Artificial stability, like the kind offered by a centrally planned economy, creates a fragile system that is vulnerable to even the smallest disturbances. The illusion of control that comes with artificial stability can be comforting, but it is ultimately detrimental in the long run. When a system is artificially stabilized, it loses its ability to adapt and evolve in response to changing circumstances. This lack of flexibility makes the system more susceptible to catastrophic failures when unexpected events occur.
