Throughout our journey along the Appalachian Trail, Katz and I encountered a wide range of weather conditions, each more unpredictable than the last. From scorching heat to bone-chilling cold, from torrential rain to unexpected snowstorms, Mother Nature threw everything she had at us. It seemed as though we couldn't catch a break, as the weather changed on a dime, leaving us scrambling to adapt. One moment we would be sweating profusely under the blazing sun, our water supply dwindling rapidly.
